The problem

The analysis report is approved. Everyone agrees what the new attendance system must do. But on Monday morning, 40 teachers still need to take attendance — and the old paper register cannot just vanish while the new system is half-built.

Knowing what to build is only half the job. The rest of the SDLC turns that plan into a real, working, trusted system: Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance.

Design works out what the system will do (logical) and how (physical); Coding writes it; Testing checks it; Implementation switches it on; Maintenance keeps it working long after launch.
