Your result card comes out of a machine that never touches paper — or one that only hits it

Your result shows up two ways: glowing on your phone screen, and printed on a paper card at college. Both are “output”, but they could not be more different — one can be touched, the other cannot.

The computer only ever does one thing with processed data: make it available to you, through some machine. Which machine it picks decides whether you see it, touch it, or hear it.
